Update

Chris here... First off, I'm sorry to everyone for not posting.  We're still in Haverstraw, NY, and it looks like we'll be spending the Winter here (in the snow and ice, and with the water turned off on the docks).  We're fine, but I've returned to work.  I'd love to post what's going on, but it's somewhat competitive in nature and, apparently, many people who work for my company's competitors read this blog.  Right now, we're still not 100% sure what the future holds for us, so I would suggest subscribing to the blog via e-mail using the link on the left hand side of the page.  Once we have any firm updates, we'll do a new post.

I waffled back and forth as to whether to post this next bit, but I finally figured that it could give people the opportunity to build a nest egg.  If anyone is interested in making a LARGE amount of money, help me sell a domain name I own - "disaster.com".  We originally had it for sale for $850k, but I think that the economic climate isn't necessarily right for a sale of this magnitude.  On the other hand, if anyone knows the CEO or a high level person at a Fortune company or a non-US company that may have a use for the domain (verticals such as insurance, disaster recovery, media and news, weather, government, etc.), we are offering a finder's fee of 10% for the person/company that helps us close the deal.  We're accepting offers lower than $850k.  Alternatively, if you work for a company that wants to buy it, we'll donate the 10% to charity if that would be preferable.
