We're in Beaufort!

Just a quick note to let everyone know that we've arrived safely in Beaufort, NC. We've been "Internet-less" for a few days, but we should be posting some info and pictures tonight or tomorrow. We're going to stay here for at least a few days and explore a bit. It's been rather exhausting doing the slog southward, day after day, watching the depth gauge. We left this morning in "Maine fog" - we literally had less than 500ft of visibility, and it lasted all the way until 1pm, so we're a bit tired. Anyway, more info later!

Nice to hear from you! I've been following your travels closely, tracing your route on Google maps and trying to anticipate where your daily stops would be. what a great way to learn about the ICW! Only being there for real would be better!

We have your Xbox. Since you'll be stopped for a few days, should we try to get it shipped to you there?

Call us and let us know!

Hi, everyone. I have been really enjoying the blog. What great writers you are! You wouldn't want to be here today. We are getting heavy snow. Ice has formed next to our beach here on Treadwell's Bay. Keep those fascinating stories coming. Alice
