Kudos to blog followers "Mike and Beth" who correctly identified Kaitlin's science experiment as an "Animal Cell". How you got to animal cell from a baggie filled with water, a twist tie, a few jelly beans and other assorted parts I'll never know, but your guess was the first correct one!
Also, thanks to blog follower Wayne for identifying the mackerel we caught as a King Mackerel, and to blog follower, scientist and professor extraordinaire Fred for giving us the scientific name - "Scrombermorus cavalla". Who knew?
